Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG in collaboration with ic! Berlin showed a new collection of glasses with a filigree design, modern stylish elegance and image accuracy.
The collection from Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG consists of two pairs of prescription glasses and two pairs of sunglasses. Both AMG models are made from the innovative FLEXARBON® carbon fiber used in the carbon interior materials of AMG cars.
At the same time, the glasses reflect vehicle design elements, which are complemented by a screw-free, handmade design. This is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and ic! Berlin, started in 2020. Both prescription and sunglasses are handcrafted in ic's optical workshops! Berlin manufactory.
MB models are inspired by the design style of Mercedes-Benz cars. Smooth contours and high-quality materials characterize the four pairs of prescription glasses and sunglasses in this collection. The color range extends from discreet to elegant, with shades in the iconic colors of Mercedes-Benz technology.
AMG models combine sophisticated aesthetics with precise dynamics. They are available in a variety of color combinations and colored lenses such as Crocus and Ultraviolet, as well as timeless versions such as Black or Venice Green.
A special feature of the two models is the innovative FLEXARBON® carbon fiber, which is developed on the basis of carbon fiber elements for Mercedes-AMG vehicles. This ensures comfort and durability.
MB 17 – glasses
This unisex model is a modern answer to the classic square frame shape.. Striking with its organic lines, the visible side is decorated with a finely inlaid Mercedes-Benz logo, which is coated with a PVD layer, giving it particularly high quality and durability.
Available in Aubergine, Rose Gold, Gunmetal, Brilliant Graphite, Pearlescent, Gunmetal, Electric Blue, Chrome.
MB 18 – glasses
Clean lines and minimalist aesthetics give the MB 18 a classic navigator look. The classic temples feature an abstract star pattern that echoes the Mercedes-Benz logo.
The glasses are available in four colors or color combinations, which are also based on the Mercedes-Benz color scheme: pearlescent, gunmetal, bronze, black, rose gold, aubergine, bronze.
MB 19 – sunglasses
Aviator sunglasses have a classic double bridge reinforced with an additional brace.
Reminiscent of the windshield of Mercedes-Benz cars, the sunglasses' lenses are engraved with a subtle Mercedes-Benz hexagonal pattern.. The colorful highlight of the sunglasses is the Ultrabeam reflective glass, which is also used in the interior of Mercedes-Benz cars.
MB 19 made of stainless steel. It is available in four colors: pearlescent, metallic, chrome, bronze.
MB 20 – sunglasses
Large sunglasses in the shape of a navigator are large in size. Reminiscent of the iconic Mercedes-Benz windshield, the lens edges feature a familiar hexagonal pattern.
Ultrabeam reflective colored glass creates bright colors and provides optimal protection against glare. The two lenses are produced in color tones using gradient lenses: warm black and subtle shades of gray and brown.
MB 20 is available in four colors: graphite, metal, black, bronze.
AMG 12 – glasses
Characterized by prominent lines and striking design. The angular shape and finely engraved lines on the front emphasize the sporty character. The inner side of the temples has colored highlights of purple, yellow or orange.
AMG Performance-inspired glasses combine dynamic design with innovative technology. Available in colors: graphite, crocus, gunmetal, yellow, eggplant, orange.
AMG 13 – sunglasses
Mercedes-AMG sports car aesthetics and the iconic V8 inspire this unisex model. The bright notches on the top edge of the glasses and temples are especially eye-catching.. Arm insert with embossed Mercedes-AMG logo.
The AMG 13 is available in pearl, sea, blue, bronze, Venice, green and black.
AMG 14 – prescription glasses
Ultra-light glasses inspired by sports technology. These are the first glasses in the collection made from the innovative material FLEXARBON®, i.e. carbon fiber. Advanced material technology and precise craftsmanship have created a line optimized for comfort and durability.
The carbon fiber front with the unmistakable Median Night pattern underlines the high-tech character of the glasses.
The pattern is continued in a slightly different form on the inside of the temples. Design elements and the Mercedes-AMG logo can also be found there; Subtle colored highlights on the temples further highlight the character of the glasses. The AMG 14 is available in various color combinations: Midnight, Venice green, Midnight yellow, Crocus.
AMG 15 – sunglasses
These are the first sunglasses in the collection with ultraviolet lenses. Like the AMG 14, they are made of FLEXARBON® carbon fiber.
Available in: Midnight, Crocus, Venice Green, Orange. Lens colors: Ultraviolet, Turquoise mirror, Smoke gray.
