The French have revealed more details about the new Duster

The SUV is created on a new platform, has become a little longer and will have more space in the cabin.. Under the hood are gasoline and hybrid engines.

The all-new Duster is built on the CMF-B platform, which was used for the Sandero and Logan, and then the Jogger. It provides the versatility needed to unify the budget models of the Renault Group, which are sold in Europe under the Dacia brand.

The all-new Duster has more passenger and luggage space than the previous generation, although the body is only slightly longer. Advanced platform technology also reduces vibration and road noise, improving driver comfort.

The car has better dynamic behavior due to optimized anti-roll bars. By increasing their rigidity, the crossover has significantly reduced body roll (by 21% in 4×2), which provides greater stability during turns or changes of direction.. Increased chassis rigidity during off-road driving is compensated by a completely new electronic control system.

Damping parameters, power steering ratio and tuning, as well as tires have also evolved. They have been redesigned to provide more precise response in a variety of driving conditions.

Rolling noise has been improved by an average of -2 dB, which significantly reduces the overall noise level inside the vehicle and provides a pleasant driving experience for passengers. (-3db = 2 times less noise).

The CMF-B platform also kicks off the all-new Duster's journey towards electrification as it can include powertrains using mild hybrid and full hybrid technologies.

The designers tried to make the exterior and interior design consistent. Fit and durable style inside gives a feeling of proper protection. It also comes from the high, vertical dashboard. The shape of the air vents, which resemble wheel arches, adds a sense of off-road capability.

The cabin also features a 10.1-inch central screen located in the driver’s field of vision at an angle of 10° to him.

The new automatic transmission in combination with the HYBRID 140 engine is easy to use.

Finally, the new Y-shaped signature emphasizes the connection between the interior and exterior of the new Duster:

On the inside, the surface of the air vents is Y-shaped, a Y also appears around the armrests on the door panels, on the outside, the head and tail lamps of the new Duster are arranged in a Y shape and the alloy wheels are polished without chrome.

In France, the base Dacia Duster will cost 19,690 euros, all-wheel drive options — from 23,400 euros. A fully equipped Duster (hybrid or 4WD) will cost 28,100 euros. In Ukraine, the car will be sold under the Renault brand.
