To get home after being released from prison, a man stole a car transporter with expensive cars.

Ten Chevy C8 Corvettes and a semi-trailer truck were stolen from the Willcox Loves Truck Stop.

This happened on February 15, when the driver was getting into the car for further movement.. The stranger approached him as if with a peaceful question, which lulled him into a sense of security.. This is what the robber wanted. Having reached his goal, he grabbed the victim by force and threw him out of the cabin. Then he took the driver's seat, locked the doors and drove out of the parking lot.

As it later turned out, the perpetrator was 23-year-old Isaiah Walker from Lawton, Oklahoma, USA.. He had just gotten out of prison and desperately needed to get home.. Since there was no passing transport, he decided to borrow a truck. A car carrier came to hand that was transporting 10 Chevrolet C8 Corvettes worth more than $1,250,000.

A recent prisoner was well acquainted with highway tractors. Without unnecessary fuss or aggression towards the car with such a precious cargo, he left the parking lot and drove north to Fort Grant Road. The course was taken to Lawton in Oklahoma, which was approximately 1,260 kilometers from the parking lot.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office, a trooper spotted the stolen car carrier on Fort Grant Road and attempted to stop it.. The thief driver did not react to the police demand and increased speed. His chaotic movement and threatening maneuvers caused other vehicles to move off the road.

However, upon entering County Line Road, Walker stopped the stolen truck.. He was taken into custody, and when asked why he stole the car, he said that Corvettes had nothing to do with it and he just needed a truck to get home, since “he just got out of prison.”

Investigation underway. The rank and file patrol officers and officers showed great restraint and patience to bring a serious crime to a peaceful resolution while protecting others from property damage.

Neither the tractor-trailer nor any of the Chevys were damaged in this incident.. The undamaged car carrier, along with the valuable cargo, was returned to the driver and he was able to continue the journey.
