BitOK: Hackers set a monthly record for cryptocurrency theft

In November, hackers stole the most cryptocurrency of the year – market participants lost almost $330 million due to attacks by cybercriminals, according to a report from BitOK.

Poloniex was followed by Sun-linked cross-chain bridge Heco and crypto exchange HTX (lost $86.5 million and $26.4 million, respectively). In total, in November, structures associated with this crypto businessman lost almost $240 million.

The day before, Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, denied reports of illegal financing and connections with the TRON Foundation, HTX and Justin Sun. The firm sent an open letter to US senators in response to allegations of money laundering and terrorist financing.
