6.2K 30 fps video recording, new 40-megapixel sensor and built-in 5-axis stabilization. Fujifilm X100VI camera introduced

Four years after the release of the Fujifilm X100V, Fujifilm has finally unveiled its successor. It's called the Fujifilm X100VI and it finally has built-in stabilization.

5-axis stabilization system, with 6 exposure levels efficiency. Another notable innovation is the sensor: the Fujifilm X100VI uses an APS-C X-Trans CMOS 5 HR image sensor with a resolution of 40.2 megapixels (remember, the Fujifilm X100V uses a 26 megapixel sensor). Finally, the camera and a new image processor were received: X-Processor 4 was replaced by X-Processor 5.

According to Justin Stailey, a representative of the development team, the power saving features of the X-Processor 5 have improved the battery life of the camera: on a fully charged battery it takes 450 shots – 30 more than the Fujifilm X100V.

The design of the camera has remained virtually unchanged, as have the dimensions.. The lens is the same as its predecessor – with a focal length of 23 mm (EGF 35 mm) and an aperture of F/2.0.

Fujifilm X100VI received the same hybrid viewfinder as its predecessor. It has three modes: all-electronic, all-optical and optical with built-in electronic display. Built-in movable display – 3-inch touchscreen, with a resolution of 1.62 MP. Video recording on the camera itself is supported up to 6.2K 30 fps with 10-bit color representation and 4:2:2 subsampling.

Fujifilm X100VI is equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adapters, a slot for SD memory cards UHS-II. Dimensions – 128 x 75 x 55 mm, weight – 521 grams.

The cost of the new item is $1,600 (1,600 pounds or 1,800 euros). Sales start on February 28.
