DxOMark specialists have published a large camera test of the Google Pixel 8. The photo and video capabilities of the new product were rated at 148 points – this result allowed the Pixel 8 to enter the top 10 best camera phones in the DxOMark rating. The device is located in 9th position, between Huawei Mate 50 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro.
Among the advantages of the smartphone camera, reviewers note a fairly accurate representation of skin tones in photos and videos, a wide dynamic range, good texture reproduction, fast autofocus and effective video stabilization. Cons – sometimes photos turn out slightly underexposed (dark), noise appears in pictures during continuous shooting, in scenes with low light and backlight, and a decrease in detail is recorded when shooting with zoom.
