The official premiere of the new Porsche Panamera, the third generation, took place today in China.. The car is presented in three versions. Basic cost – 145 thousand. dollars, the Panamera Executive Extended Edition is priced at 162 thousand. dollars, but at the top of the Chinese range is the Panamera 4 Executive Extended Edition for 172 thousand. dollars.
Externally, the Panamera has not changed much, but there is a new bumper with a narrow and long air intake and decorative elements along the edges, as well as new Porsche HD Matrix headlights with more than 32 thousand. LEDs and shining at a distance of 600 meters.
Dimensions of the standard version are 5052 × 1937 × 1423 mm, dimensions of the long-wheelbase version are 5202 × 1937 × 1428 mm.
The base has two screens – as part of a digital dashboard and a media system. For the passenger, you can order a third screen with a diagonal of 10.9 inches. The gearbox mode switch has moved from the central tunnel to the steering column, which frees up space for wireless smartphone charging. The third generation Panamera also has new ventilation deflectors and a different climate control panel.
The basic single-wheel drive version is equipped with a 2.9 liter V6 engine with two turbines. It produces 353 hp. (torque – 500 Nm) and provides acceleration to 100 km/h in 5.1 s. The maximum speed is 272 km/h. The version with all-wheel drive and the same power plant accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The top variant Turbo E-Hybrid is a plug-in hybrid based on a 4-liter V8 engine. This power plant produces 680 hp. and accelerates the Panamera to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 315 km/h, the range on pure electricity is 93 km.
The standard modification of the Panamera will receive a suspension with two-chamber pneumatic elements and two-valve shock absorbers. Steering rear wheels and a new Active Ride suspension, in the design of which shock absorbers are connected to hydraulic pumps, are available for an additional fee.
