Xiaomi retained third position despite a 10% decline to 6 million units, helped by positive dynamics in Central and Eastern Europe. Motorola and Honor round out the top five, selling 2 million and 1.1 million units, with year-on-year growth rates of 73% and 116%, respectively.

“High-end smartphones captured a record share of the European market in the fourth quarter of 2023. Almost 40% of smartphone shipments were priced at $800 or more, said Runar Björhovde, an analyst at Canalys.. “The dominance of the high-end segment was mainly driven by strong demand for the iPhone 15 Pro along with continued sales of the Galaxy S series and growing sales of the Google Pixel.”

It was previously reported that among the top 10 models for shipments in 2023, Apple iPhone accounted for 7 places, and Samsung took 3 positions.
