Honor Magic6 Pro surpassed Huawei Mate 60 Pro in the satellite communication test, and Magic6 and Magic6 Pro were shown in high-quality renders

An insider known on Twitter under the nickname Rodent950 published a high-quality image showing the future Honor flagships – Magic6 and Magic6 Pro.

Also provided separately is a render of the rear panel of the Magic6 Pro and a photo of the front panel of the same smartphone.

Judging by the renders, the main module of the main camera of Magic6 and Magic6 Pro will have a variable aperture lens, and the periscope module will be in both the base model and the Pro version.

According to the informant, the main camera of Honor Magic6 will have the following set of sensors: in the main module – OmniVision OV50H optical format 1/1.28 inches, in the periscope module – OmniVision OV50M optical format 1/2.88 inches, in the module with an ultra-wide-angle lens – OmniVision OV50M.

And this is what the set of sensors of the older model looks like: OmniVision OV50H, Samsung HP3 (optical format – 1/1.4 inches), OmniVision OV50M.

Also, the results of a comparison of satellite communications between Honor Magic6 Pro and Huawei Mate 60 Pro appeared on the Internet, and here the Honor flagship came out the winner. Firstly, using satellite communication is simply simpler: in the case of Magic6 Pro, there is no need to measure the signal level before establishing a connection. Secondly, Magic6 Pro supports long voice calls using satellite communication – they can exceed 5 minutes. Unlike Huawei, where the connection is automatically terminated after 5 minutes.

RODENT950 was previously noted for many subsequently confirmed leaks about Huawei P40 and Mate 40 series smartphones before their premiere, and also published examples of photos taken with the Huawei P50 camera before the announcement of the smartphone.
