The head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, in an interview with the TOGLYATTI 24 TV channel, announced the imminent premiere of the Lada Iskra. “ The show of it [the car under the Iskra brand] is planned very soon… Such intrigue cannot be maintained for long, since the first batch of these cars has been produced and is being tested ,” said Maxim Sokolov.
It is unknown when exactly this will happen, but it is unlikely in the coming weeks, since another important premiere is planned for March 11 — the Lada Vesta with a 1.8 EVO engine and a CVT. At the same time, Maxim Sokolov noted that Iskra will be launched into mass production only in 2025, as previously reported.
