Redmi today introduced the Redmi Note 13 line of smartphones in India – for the first time, devices in this series are presented outside of China. Topping the series is the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus, the device is offered in three memory options: 8/256 GB for $385, 12/256 GB for $410, and 12/512 GB for $430.
In terms of characteristics, the version for India is no different from the version for China. The smartphone has an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a resolution of 1712 x 1220 pixels, a frame rate of 120 Hz and a PWM adjustment frequency of 1920 Hz. Screen protection is provided by tempered Gorilla Glass Victus glass.
The hardware platform is based on SoC MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra, but the software platform is not the most up-to-date – MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
Front camera – 16-megapixel, main – with sensors of 200 (with OIS), 8 (with ultra-wide-angle lens) and 2 (for macro) megapixels. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh and supports 120 W charging.
Other features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ include IP68 protection, an NFC chip, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 adapters, stereo speakers, an IR emitter and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
