On Tuesday, February 13, Copenhagen faced Manchester City at home in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
The Citizens, having an advantage throughout the match, confidently confirmed their status as the obvious favorite in this pair and won with a score of 3:1.

Manchester City took the lead in the tenth minute of the match after a goal from Kevin De Bruyne. Copenhagen managed to briefly equalize through the efforts of Magnus Matsson, but before the break Bernardo Silva scored the city's second goal from a pass from De Bruyne. Phil Foden, who was assisted by the same Belgian midfielder, put an end to the first part of the confrontation between the teams in stoppage time.
