Dorothea Wierer — about the pursuit race at the World Cup: Something is still missing

Three-time world champion, Italian biathlete Dorothea Wierer complained of poor health after the pursuit race at the first stage of the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden).

«Woke up with a sore throat. It seems like fate is deciding for me what to do. In the evening I really thought I was going to be sick, but in the morning I had a sore throat. I still wanted to try it, and in the end it didn't go so well bad, but I felt that something was still missing. I just hope that this will end soon… either I will get seriously ill, or I hope to slowly begin to recover,» Wierer was quoted as saying by Fondo Italia.

Let us remind you that the Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot won the race.
