The Frenchman unexpectedly received the position of general director in the Turkish Umraniyespor. This was reported by the press service of the second division club.

The details of the 44-year-old ex-football player’s agreement with his new employer remain unknown at this time.
Note that for Anelka this is not the first role of a functionary in his career. He previously worked as a sports director in his homeland at the Hyères club, which he left in 2021.
