Ex-Chelsea coach refused to take over Ajax, but is still interested in the project

Former Chelsea head coach Graham Potter has refused to lead Ajax, reports the Dutch publication AD.nl.

It is noted that the 48-year-old Englishman remains interested in the Amsterdam club’s project. According to the source, Potter expects a more generous offer in financial terms.

The Ajaxes are determined to persuade the coach to lead their team, since Potter is a favorite of Alex Kroes, who took over as general director of the Dutch team on March 15.
