Former Formula 1 driver Dutchman Christian Albers believes that Australian Daniel Ricciardo from Alpha Tauri has a chance of moving to Red Bull.
“It's a shame that Liam Lawson didn't get a place. He did a great job over the five weekends when he filled in for the injured Daniel Ricciardo. I think Lawson deserves a chance, especially at Alpha Tauri. And I wouldn't be surprised if the opportunity arises in 2024.
If Sergio Perez continues in the same spirit, in my opinion, there is a high probability that he will be replaced by Ricciardo. Provided he performs well. And then the way will be open for Lawson,” De Telegraaf quotes Albers as saying.
