The French National Olympic Committee (NOC) has submitted a bid to the IOC to host the Winter Olympics in 2030. This was reported by the press service of the NOC.
“This document, submitted today to the IOC, is the result of our joint work, which has been carried out since July. This is a demonstration of our ambitions to hold the Games of a new format,” said the head of the French NOC, David Lappartient.
France plans to host the Games, which will be held in two regions of the country: Auvergne – Rhone-Alpes and Provence – Alpes – Côte d'Azur.
In addition to France, the USA, Sweden and Switzerland are also bidding to host the 2030 Olympics.
