The main stage of the IEM Katowice tournament will take place in the Polish city of Katowice from February 3 to 11, where 16 teams from all over the world will play. The tournament prize fund is $1,000,000.
At the group stage of the tournament, teams are divided into two eights. The winner of each group will advance directly to the semi-finals of the tournament's playoffs, and the loser in the final of the upper bracket of the group will play in the 1/4 finals with the winner of the lower bracket of the other group.
