Former junior welterweight title challenger Jemaine Ortiz said he performed better against WBO title holder Teofimo Lopez than he did against Vasiliy Lomachenko.
“After the fight with Lomachenko, I knew what I needed to do in the fight with Lopez. I understood that it was necessary to give a strong ending. It seemed to me that I did it. I did not feel that Teofimo interrupted me, shook me at some point in the fight or landed a big punch like Lomachenko did at the end of some rounds, which could have taken away those segments. This fight wasn't like that. For me, it was one-sided,” Ortiz said.
Let's remember that this morning Ortiz lost to Lopez by unanimous decision (117-111, 115-113, 115-113).
