Potential opponent hints at fight with Lomachenko, rejects another offer

Former undisputed champion of the lightweight division George Kambosos has practically confirmed that Vasyl Lomachenko should be his next opponent.

The Australian boxer turned down an offer from Golden Boy Promotions chief Oscar De La Hoya to fight his client William Cepeda, saying he had a more significant fight awaiting him.

“Oscar, it’s always good to hear from you, legend. I already have a megafight scheduled against a much more eminent opponent than Cepeda.

But I like your fighter, the Mexican warrior. He comes out to fight, not run. I'll sort things out, win another championship, and then we'll talk,” Kambosos wrote.

Earlier it became known when Lomachenko will enter the ring.
