On January 16, the second match of the 2024 CEV Cup playoff round took place in Istanbul, in which the men's Prometheus played with Fenerbahce.

Let us remind you that last week the Ukrainian club beat the Turkish club with a score of 3:1. Dnipro needed to win only two games to reach the quarterfinals.
The first two games were taken into account by VC Fenerbahce and won them quite confidently. In the third set, Prometheus tried to fight for victory and took the lead several times, but in the end, they made mistakes and lost the set – 23:25.
The fans were in for a decisive “golden set”. In it, Kerem Yerilmaz's team started strongly (2:0 – 5:1) and eventually won the decisive game – 15:11 and reached the quarterfinals of the CEV Cup.
