According to the official website of the Premier League, in ten matches of the 23rd round a record number of goals were scored for one game week, namely 45.
The previous record for the number of goals scored in 10 matches was 44. This figure was achieved twice: first in the second round of the 2020/21 season, and then in the 34th round of the 2022/23 season.

It is also reported that this season the teams scored 730 goals in 228 matches of the English Championship. On average, fans see 3.2 goals per match.
If teams continue at this pace, they could break the 2022/23 season record of 1,084 goals scored in 380 matches. At the current rate, the record will be surpassed by 42 goals.
It is worth noting that the most goals scored in a Premier League season were scored in the very first 42-match campaign, 1992/39, when teams scored 1,222 goals (2.6 goals per match).
