The Ukrainian biathlon team announced the composition of the men's and women's teams for the 2024 World Championships.
The women's team will be represented by six biathletes, including Yulia Jima, who missed the European Championships to prepare for the world championships.
There are also six biathletes on the men's team, but one spot remains vacant and will be filled after the IBU Cup. Candidates for this place are, in particular, Vitaly Mandzin, who will prepare for the European Junior Championships and may join the team later.
The World Championship will take place from February 7 to 18. The only Ukrainian world champion in the lineup will be Dmitry Pidruchny. Compared to last year's lineup, some biathletes have been replaced.
