The Ukrainian women's epee fencing team defeated fencers from South Korea – 41:40 in the final of the World Cup in Legnano, Italy.
The stage was the first at the level of the Epee Fencing World Cup in the 2023/24 season. The Ukrainian national team was represented at the tournament by Vlada Kharkova, Elena Krivitskaya, Inna Brovko and Joan Faby Bejura.
This is the first “gold” in women’s epee among teams since October 14, 2016, when Ukraine won the stage in Suzhou, China. Then the “yellow-blues” also defeated South Korea in the final.
