The Chinese brand OnePlus introduced the new flagship smartphone OnePlus 12. Outwardly, it is similar to its predecessor, but the “filling” is many times better.
The design of the new product almost completely copies the OnePlus 11: in front there is a solid 6.82-inch OLED display with a brightness of 4500 nits, containing a front camera in a small notch, the screen is curved and has thin frames; at the back the camera is placed in an off-center circle. The only change is that the LED flash, which was previously located in one of the four black circles of the camera lens, has now been moved to the top left corner of the camera bump. The smartphone will be available in three colors: white, black and green.
The internal content of the smartphone has undergone much more changes.. OnePlus is one of the first devices on the market to feature Qualcomm's new flagship mobile processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, unveiled in October.. A 1:5:2 layout of processor cores is used here.. This is one big X4 core, five “ medium” A720 cores and two A530 cores for background processing.
As stated on the OnePlus website, the base model of the smartphone offers 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The upgraded model comes with 24GB and 1TB of storage respectively.
There are three cameras on the back ( although it looks like there are four of them). The camera system combines a 50MP Sony LYT-808, a 64MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 48MP wide-angle camera and a 32MP front camera.

The battery capacity in the new product increases significantly, and now reaches 5400 mAh instead of 5000 mAh. According to OnePlus, the device lasts 1.79 days in battery mode, and this is a record among new generation flagships. The Chinese version has 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, the international version is subject to change.
The model also has an ultra-thin optical fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, and a Turbo bionic vibration engine, which, according to the manufacturer, “takes the feeling of vibration to the next level.”. In addition, the smartphone supports two SIM cards, both of which can work with 5G enabled.

Prices in China, which are not particularly relevant for the rest of the world, start from 4299 yuan ( about 600 US dollars) for the base model and reach 5799 yuan ( approximately $811) for the version with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal memory. The smartphone will traditionally appear on the Chinese market first, and only then in the rest of the world.
