Resident Evil 4 VR mode for PlayStation 5 will launch on Friday, December 8th. Owners of the remake will get free access to it. Those who don't have the game yet will be able to try its demo version on the day the VR mode is released.

“In VR mode, you'll be immersed in the game's world and experience… Leon's battles against the ultimate enemy with a level of intensity that can't be achieved on a traditional display,” reads a PlayStation blog post.

Players will also get a special shooting range game mode. Here you can better understand the game controls in the VR version, learn how to aim, shoot, reload weapons, and the like.

Recall that the remake of Resident Evil 4 was released on March 24, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S and sold more than 5 million copies. On ratings aggregator Metacritic, the game has an average score of 93.
