As predicted by insider billbil-kun, on January 4, the Epic Games Store started giving away the action-adventure game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, the last secret game out of a planned 17.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy offers, in the role of Star-Lord (aka Peter Quill), to lead a bizarre team of “asparagus” of the Galaxy and, together with his comrades, save this very Galaxy.
The game was released in October 2021 and earned 94% positive reviews on Steam (78−84% on Metacritic). The project is praised for its plot, humor, soundtrack, character development and production, but criticized for its bland gameplay.

Due to the restrictions introduced, Epic Games Store users with a Russian account were left without a gift. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is not available in the domestic segment of the digital store. However, this is not a verdict yet.
Those wishing to take advantage of the promotion will have to create a new account (not Russian or Belarusian). After that, with the VPN enabled, you need to go to the Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy page in EGS and click “Get.”

The Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy giveaway on the Epic Games Store will last a week and end on January 11, at 19:00 Moscow time – at the same time, the game Sail Forth about exploring the ocean on your sailboat will become free.
