In 2016, Vivian Tu started working as a trader at the largest US bank, JP Morgan. After a few years there, she felt undervalued, so she quit. She probably didn't even think how life would change a few years after that. The blogger told Business Insider her story.

Vivian shared that she later got a job at BuzzFeed and worked with the company's partners. But, in addition to working with clients, colleagues asked her many questions about finances, insurance, etc.

A woman shared that she posted her first TikTok video on January 1, 2021, and it went viral. Thanks to this, 100,000 people subscribed to it. users in just one week. Although, according to Vivian herself, the video was not special.

Subsequently, she began to earn as a blogger, in particular, from advertising on TikTok and other social networks. And now Vivian also receives money through partnerships with brands and as an advance for her book on finance.

A year and three months after the first video was published, Vivian decided to resign from BuzzFeed to devote more time to the blog.

“You can always return to corporate work. You don't want to look back at this moment when you're 40, 50, 60 and think what if,” she told herself.
