Tesla will demand $50,000. from Cybertruck buyers for breaking the rules

Tesla is ready to sue for breach of contract on the purchase of Cybertruck

Tesla has published the rules for its customers who will be the first to purchase a Cybertruck. For their violation, the automaker can sue the buyer or demand $50,000. (or even more).

The Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup is expected to go on sale from November 30. Customers who purchase cars must comply with certain conditions. Business Insider writes about it.

The rules state that the electric pickup truck will initially be released in limited quantities. Therefore, customers will not be allowed to sell the car within one year after purchase.

Tesla may seek an injunction to prevent the car from being sold. Or the company can demand a fine of $50,000 from the client. or the amount received from the sale. The automaker can also refuse to sell any cars to such a customer.

Even Tesla rules have exceptions

The company can buy the Cybertruck back at the original price minus $0.25 per mile for mileage, wear and tear, etc.. But this is only if the client has good reasons for selling the car.

If the car manufacturer does not want to buy an electric pickup truck, it can allow it to be sold to someone else. However, this requires a written confirmation from the company.
