The charity department of Google.org has made the AI Opportunity Fund: Europe available in Ukraine as well, they wrote about this in their blog. This is a program to help workers most affected by changes in the labor market due to artificial intelligence.
Applications are now open until June 28, 2024. Registration form and additional information here. All non-profit organizations working with people who need to be trained to use AI tools at work can apply. This includes:
civil society organizations; social enterprises; trade unions; branch associations; municipalities; charitable organizations; professional associations, etc.
Google.org will select participants through an open competition. The winners will receive special educational programs in Ukrainian, covering basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, as well as support and consulting. The total budget of AI Opportunity Fund: Europe for Ukraine is €700,000, it includes sub-grants and training programs.
