“It’s already incredible”: the demo of the Russian action movie Kiborg about the cyborg Vasily received a major update on Steam

The demo version of the sci-fi roguelike action movie Kiborg (“Cyborg”) from the Russian Sobaka Studio (Redeemer, REMEDIUM) has received its second content update in the last two weeks.

Let us remind you that the last time Sobaka Studio updated the Kiborg demo for the start of the Remote Play Together festival on Steam. Then the trial version received local co-op (with online play thanks to the Remote Play Together feature).

Today, February 26, a new thematic festival started on Steam – “Dinosaurs vs. Robots” (will last until March 4), – of which Kiborg is also a participant. The demo version has received a content update again.

While previous versions of the demo only allowed users to try out the arena mode (albeit in co-op), with today's update gamers will be able to familiarize themselves with the structure of Kiborg and how it will be played at release.

The developers believe that the upgrade, timed to coincide with the start of the Dinosaurs vs. Robots festival, takes the demo version to a fundamentally new level: “The new demo is very different from what it was before; it’s already incredible now.”

The events of Kiborg will unfold on the prison planet Sigma, where gamers in the role of the cyborg rebel Vasily will have to send their clones on missions to cut their way through mutants, drug addicts and mechanized corporate fighters.

Kiborg is being created for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. They promise forbidden technologies for study, colorful characters, procedural generation of tasks and full support for the Russian language (text and voice acting).
