Google is testing a new Dream Track feature for YouTube that makes it very easy to generate new music tracks. To do this, just sing a song or write a text prompt.

Together with artificial intelligence company DeepMind, which Google acquired in 2014, it has developed a number of tools for creating music tracks. The first of them, Dream Track, is already available to a limited number of authors on the platform. This tool allows you to create short 30-second music tracks in the style of famous artists for later use in short videos for YouTube Shorts.

“All you have to do is enter your idea in the create window and select an artist from the carousel,” YouTube said in a blog post.

Now he can imitate the voices and styles of nine performers ( Alec Benjamin, Charlie Puth, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, John Legend, Papoose, Sia, T-Pain and Troye Sivan) who decided to take part in this experiment. The company showed several examples of its work.
