The digital distribution service for the Nintendo Switch game console has named the 30 most downloaded games from its eShop.

The most successful among all games was the Japanese puzzle Suika Game ( also known as Watermelon Game). In it, players try to set a record by throwing fruits into a container and earning points for it.

This game was released back in 2021, but did not attract much attention then. Its finest hour came after its release for Switch. This year it even made it into the top ten worldwide ranking of games that were most often searched on Google.

Second place in Nintendo's top list was taken by this year's adventure video game The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is the 20th in the series. The strategic video game Pikmin 4 took an honorable third place ( Pikmin 1 and 2 also appear on the list, although they are already about 20 years old).

In addition to representatives of these two franchises, among the 30 most popular you can see a number of games about Mario ( Super Mario Wonder, Mariokart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario RPG), Animal Crossing, Minecraft and a number of Pokemon games.

NV Techno wrote that Switch has been successfully selling on the market for the seventh year in a row. In the first six months of this fiscal year alone, Nintendo sold 6.84 million units of this console.
