Meta, at the request of users, has added the ability to use its social network to publish text messages and Threads images through the web browser of smartphones and tablets.
The long-awaited update was announced by a member of the Threads Ally team (@chowfun_). She shared several messages about the launch of the web version.
“I'm really excited about the mobile web version, we're still working out the bugs ( sorry!), but we have come a long way!” she wrote.

Threads already runs on the Chrome mobile web browser on iOS and Android. At the same time, The Verge reported that iOS users had temporary problems logging in through the Safari web browser developed by Apple.
Threads, Meta's Twitter counterpart, launched in July 2023. To use it, you had to download a new application and log in using your Instagram account.. Already in August, as NV Techno wrote, they launched a web version for PC – at the request of users.
Until this week, users couldn't delete their Threads pages without deleting their Instagram accounts.. This possibility was added on November 14.
