Lincoln is so fascinated by the aromatherapy potential of vehicles that it has expanded the list of perfumes to seven different incense for the premium Nautilus crossover.
A list of car scents for Nautilus 2024 is available to choose from. There were three of them, and four more were added. They are available on current model year midsize SUVs equipped with Lincoln Digital Scent.
Although the name suggests that the perfume is somehow computerized, it is actually just small bottles that fit into a special holder in the center front armrest.
Lincoln says the scents were selected by perfumers and that they work with suppliers who use products certified by the International Fragrance Association. In addition to Mystic Forest, Ozonic Azure and Violet Cashmere (described below), the brand is adding Cloud Balsam, Serene Seashore, Twilight Embers and Sunlight Retreat to its collection of scents.
“We're adding Digital Scent to the all-new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, allowing our customers to immerse themselves in enlivening moments while driving. Personalization is important to our customers, and we allowed them to choose the scent they want to customize their own car interior,” said Teresa Cheung, Customer Experience Manager.
The brand describes the scents as follows:
Mystic Forest – An earthy blend of cedarwood, rich notes of patchouli, amber and yuzu citrus.. Ozonic Azure – a distinct combination of aromatic patchouli and notes of freesia and spices. Violet Cashmere – harmony of rich violet, grapefruit and golden citrus fruits. Cloud Balm is an invigorating blend of lush pine needles, oakmoss, crushed tonka and vanilla beans.. Serene Seashore – Juicy melon, fragrant lily, musk and bright lemon combine in this radiant blend. Twilight Embers – a magical note of patchouli, floral jasmine, fresh apple and deep skin tones. Sunlight Retreat – sandalwood and rose highlight this union and are highlighted by crisp red fruits and balsamic notes.
All aroma cartridges are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. The new bottles are now on sale on the accessories page of Lincoln's website.
