Tesla has found a way to deal with outbids

Tesla has banned customers from selling the Cybertruck during its first year.

The new Cybertruck Only clause in the Tesla purchase and sale stipulates that buyers must own the vehicles for at least a year or face a lawsuit and a fine of up to $50,000 when selling the electric pickup truck.

The company warns that violators may be barred from purchasing vehicles from Tesla in the future.

If a customer has a compelling reason to sell their Cybertruck, Tesla may agree to buy it back at the original price less $0.25 per mile for mileage, wear and tear, and the cost of any required maintenance/repairs.

Thus, Tesla hopes to reduce the number of overpriced resales and prevent resellers from making money on long lines.
