Today Nvidia officially unveiled the GeForce RTX 40 Super 3D cards. All the characteristics of the new products became known before the premiere, and now they have been confirmed. In general, we can say that the new products have become better than their predecessors, but prices have not risen.
GeForce RTX 4080 Super received 10,240 CUDA cores and 16 GB of GDDR6X memory with a frequency of 23 GHz. The GPU and memory are connected by a 256-bit bus. The maximum TGP value is 320 W, but the average consumption in games is about 246 W, in idle mode – 15 W. GeForce RTX 4080 Super performs twice as fast as GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. This video card will be released on January 31st, the price in the US is $1000.
GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super is 1.6 times more productive than GeForce RTX 4070 Ti (mainly due to increased memory and bus expansion from 192 bits). This model has 8448 CUDA cores and 16 GB of 21 GHz GDDR6X memory with a 256-bit bus. TGP – 285 W, but in games the consumption is lower – 226 W, and in idle mode – 12 W. GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super will go on sale on January 24, priced at $800.
According to official data, GeForce RTX 4070 Super is faster than GeForce RTX 3090. This model has 7168 CUDA cores and 12 GB of GDDR6X memory with a frequency of 21 GHz and a 192-bit bus. TGP – 220 W, consumption in games – 200 W, in standby mode – only 11 W. This model will go on sale on January 17, the price is $600.
At the same time, Nvidia reduced the price of the GeForce RTX 4070 to $550.
