The Telegram messenger received a large-scale update that made the voice message transcription function available to all users. Previously, only paid subscription owners had it.
Last year, Telegram users with a Premium subscription were able to turn voice and video messages into text. This helps you quickly find out the main point of a message and make it easier to translate its content into another language if necessary.. With a big update released this week, Telegram has made this feature available to everyone.
“With this update, all users can turn up to 2 messages per week into text — just tap the “→A” icon to try it out. Please note that this feature will be rolled out gradually and may not be available to everyone right away.. Telegram Premium allows you to turn voice into text without restrictions,” says a post on the Telegram blog.
In addition, now Telegram users, when joining a new channel, will be recommended to subscribe to channels similar in topic. Stories in Telegram have also undergone changes.. You can now add video “circle” messages to them, and not just regular videos.
Channels have access to statistics on story views. Channel administrators also received a new interface for managing reactions to posts ( you can add or remove certain emojis, including custom emojis). And the channel statistics now shows a graph of reactions based on emojis ( displays positive and negative emotions).
New chat settings functions have appeared for Premium owners. Now you can choose a personal color with which the name, links and replies to messages will be marked in the messenger. In addition, subscription owners can now set unique wallpapers for chats that both interlocutors will see.
