The path to chaos? Musk promises to show users X unpopular posts

Social network X ( Twitter) is updating its algorithms to help grow its audience for users with few followers.

This week, the social network will release an update to its open-source recommendation algorithms, aimed at In For You, users saw not only the top posts of those they follow, along with popular and trending posts, but also posts from smaller accounts.

“A major update to the recommendation algorithm will be released in the coming days.. This will help highlight smaller accounts and posts outside of your network of followers.. As always, the source code will be open and will be constantly improved,” wrote the owner of the social network Elon Musk and X on Friday.

The move is the latest in a series of changes to the social network aimed at attracting content creators, who are increasingly turning to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram to interact with audiences and monetize content.

As NV Techno wrote, over the past few months X has added messages of up to 25 thousand characters for subscription owners, the ability to download two-hour videos. In addition, content authors began to receive advertising revenue. Last month, X CEO Linda Yaccarino said the platform paid out about $20 million to users.
