Ukrainian sledge runner Anton Dukach set a new record for Ukraine at the World Luge Championship.
At the Altenberg stage, Dukach showed an amazing result, finishing in 12th place with a time of 1:49.419 minutes. His figure exceeded the previous record, which belonged to another Ukrainian athlete, Andrey Mandzii. He took 14th place in 2023. This time Mandziy took 15th place.
At the stage in Altenberg, another sankara, Daniil Martsinovsky, represented the Ukrainian national team. He failed to qualify for the second pass and finished the competition in 23rd place.
The winner was Max Langengan from Germany.
