The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) has decided to reject the protest of the American Haas team against the results of the US Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The FIA considered that the US racing team was unable to provide any new evidence that would not have been available to the judges during the race.

Let us remind you that in its request, Haas stated that the stewards of the US Grand Prix did not consider all cases of violation of the boundaries of the track by pilots and, accordingly, did not impose all the necessary fines on them. If the American team's request had been granted, its pilot Nico Hulkenberg could have risen above 11th place and entered the points zone.
Earlier, the head of Haas, Gunther Steiner, expressed confidence that his team’s request would be satisfied.
