Ukraine took 10th place in the mixed relay of the Biathlon World Cup

A mixed classic relay took place at the Biathlon World Cup in Antholz-Anterselva (Italy). Ukraine was represented in the race by Anastasia Merkushina, Yulia Jima, Denis Nasiko and Dmitry Pidruchny.

Nastya Merkushina handled her stage very well – one additional cartridge and seventh place to pass the baton (+20.1). It is important that the Ukrainian was competitive in the last lap.

Yulia Dzhima cannot count this race as an asset – four additional cartridges. In addition, Yulia was not impressive at the distance today either. After the equator of the race, Ukraine was in eighth place (+1.29.1).

Denis Nasik had some problems on the stand – two additional rounds, but the main thing was that he managed to avoid a penalty loop. Before the last stage, Ukraine was in ninth place (+2.11.6).

Dmitry Pidruchny had significant problems during prone shooting – he used all the extra cartridges. On the stand, Dmitry used two more additional cartridges. As a result, Ukraine finished in ninth place. Only 12 teams finished.
