Ukraine won three medals at the Grandslam judo tournament, which took place in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.
The first award was won by Daria Bilodid. In the medal bout, she defeated the Netherlands' Julie Buerskens, receiving the bronze medal. Today she was joined by Yulia Kurchenko and Elizaveta Litvinenko, who won silver and bronze awards, respectively.
With three awards at the Grandslam, the Ukrainian team took 13th place in the medal standings of the tournament. The winner was the Azerbaijani team, which had 8 prizes.
Let us remind you that this tournament is included in the qualifying round for the 2024 Olympics. The next Judo Grandslam will take place on March 1-3 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
