Today, owners of Xiaomi smartphones and the Poco and Redmi brands owned by the Chinese company are faced with a cyclical reboot of their devices (Bootloop), the cause of which is believed to be a software update. The problem affects devices running MIUI and HyperOS, as evidenced by numerous messages on thematic forums and in the Xiaomi community.

The problem is that instead of loading the operating system correctly, the smartphone boots into recovery mode, which is designed to solve software problems. Switching to safe mode does not solve the problem and, apparently, at the moment, the only way to get rid of the cyclic reboot is by resetting the device to factory settings, but this will lose all data.
“Hello! We are already working to solve the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you urgently need to restore your smartphone, you can reset the settings with complete loss of data,” says a message from a representative of the Xiaomi.Russia community on the VKontakte social network.
At the moment, it is not known exactly why the problem with rebooting Xiaomi smartphones arose and how widespread it is. Users of the company's devices assume that the failure occurred after updating the SystemUI Plugin system component.
