Along with the autumn sale on Steam, a period of free access to the fantasy role-playing action game Diablo IV recently began, but many still cannot play – and not only on the Valve service.

According to numerous complaints on the official Blizzard forum, the social network X (formerly Twitter) and the Steam community, attempts to log into Diablo IV after November 22 end with a connection error (code 300201).
It is noteworthy that the problem is observed not only among those who were hoping to take advantage of the free trial period on Steam, but also among buyers of Diablo IV, including on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Despite the fact that the problem appeared three days ago, the situation has still not been brought back to normal – and users are expectedly unhappy with this situation. Blizzard, however, is already aware of the matter.
“We have no news, but the team is aware of the problem and is looking into it. They hope to resolve it as soon as possible,” reads one of the most recent responses from Blizzard support to a frustrated user on X.

While waiting for the problem to be fixed, users found a temporary solution (works on consoles). It involves creating a new platform and Battle.net account, launching Diablo IV from it and joining the main account session.
Diablo IV is available on PC (Steam, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The free period will end on November 28 at 21:00 Moscow time – users affected by the problem have less and less time to play.
