Asus says new gaming models « have been completely redesigned inside and out». Concerning « fillings», then both new products are equipped with advanced graphics processors, the performance of which is increased using artificial intelligence. Zephyrus G14 features an AMD Ryzen 8000 series processor with AMD Ryzen AI support and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with access to advanced features such as DLSS 3.5. The Zephyrus G16 features an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor with 11 TOPS AI processing power and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU.

In addition, both laptops received speakers with bass up to 100 Hz, which are 25% more and 47% louder than the speakers of the previous model. The brand also claims that both models have been equipped with an improved intelligent cooling system.

All this fits into an extremely compact case, which received a new brand color Platinum White with a matte finish. The Zephyrus G14 is just 1.59cm thick and weighs 1.5kg, the larger Zephyrus G16 is just 1.49cm thick and weighs 1.85kg. The body, like the chassis, is made of aluminum and has thin bezels that allow you to place the keyboard from edge to edge. Both models received a new LED lighting system on the lid, the animated backlight of which can be customized.

The real highlight of the 2024 models is the screen. Both models feature ROG Nebula OLED displays ( diagonal Zephyrus G14 — 14 inches, G16 — 16 inches). The screens have an aspect ratio of 16:10, a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and, according to the manufacturer, 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. “Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G16 are the first ROG gaming laptops ( sub-brand Asus Republic of Gamers — NV), which adorn OLED panels. … Through partnerships with Samsung and NVIDIA, these leading OLED panels for notebooks support G-SYNC for incredible motion clarity,” Asus said in the announcement.

The laptops will ship with a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate package, providing access to a library of hundreds of games. The cost of the new products has not yet been announced.
