Apple and Google today announced their lists of the best programs of the year.. Both did not feature the super-popular AI chatbot ChatGPT.
Apple's App Store Award list for this year bucked the trend of recognizing programs that were new to the app store or used the latest technology.. Despite the incredible success of the ChatGPT mobile app, Apple did not mention it in either the main collection or the Cultural Impact category, which includes apps that have a significant cultural impact..
